About meMum of 2, love cooking. The walk was my idea and I think I’m regretting it now. ;)
Years ago I was a classical ballet dancer and extremely fit, however of late (the last 20 years) I prefer to watch ballet, eat food and drink wine ;-).
I climbed Mont Blanc in 1998 and found half way up a crevice I was scared of heights!
why do I want to do this? Well, it’s only a walk isn’t it!?

About meI have been talking for years about wanting to take part in a challenge that was hard work, fun and that would get me fit, so here I am. I took part in the Ten Tors and Snowdonia 7 but this was over 20 years ago when I had a racing snake figure. I now have a racing hippo figure but I am determined to do this.

About me41 And a father of three. I have longed for a purpose instead of just plodding on through life. Being given this chance to do something for charity has inspired me and hopefully with the support of the team and my family we can conquer the three peaks and raise some serious money along the way.Training is well under way but I think after the festive period I will have to step up my game. To all my fellow walkers onwards and upwards!

Level of fitnessoverweight, underfit, recovering from a broken ankle.
About meI did the Inca Trail 4 years ago after being persuaded into it by a friend. I had never had the onclination to do anything like that before, but the sense of achievement at the end was overwhelming. Based on that I decided to climb Kilimanjaro for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately I didn't reach the top due to altitude sickness. Since then I have done nothing. The endless training for Kili made me just want to slob for a bit. Arlene contacted me about doing this whilst I was sitting with my leg in plaster after breaking my ankle, what more motivation do I need to aid my recovery?
